If you must desecrate my Gears of War fandom:

Marcus and Baird may be in the same squad, but that does not mean that they share the same bed roll! I can not tell you the number of fan fics I have read pairing these two. They are bad asses, both of them fighting for the survival of human kind. They are not about to take a five minute break in the middle of a Locust offensive to christen some dark corner of a burnt out bookstore!

Cole (a.k.a. The Cole-Train) Yes he was once a Thrash-ball player (See similarities to football), however that does not mean he is a brainless jock. Sure he may seem suicidal, but he has had more experience in the battlefield than most. And he will not start sexing up Dom! He is straight as a Grizzley's...eyesight. (I can't go further than that because I am at the library.) He will go after the ladies, but he will go no further than they will allow. The Cole-Train is not a Rapist!!!!

Dom has been serching for his wife for 14 years since the Locust invasion. He will not suddenly descide that his vows to Maria are null and void just because your OC happens to flash nip. Granted, in the middle of Gears of War 2 he finds that his wife has been tortured into insanity by the Locust and has to put her out of her misery. But that does not mean that he will suddenly jump back into the dating pool, or does it mean that he gets sexuall healing from one of the guys! NO! He loves his wife, even after her death. So no nookie from Santagio.

The Stranded: The stranded are those who refuse to be governed by the COG. When Dom calls in a favor to one of the groups of Stranded, it is because they owe him BIG. There is no love lost between the Gears and the Stranded. In fact, Gears and Stranded have been known to forgo Locust targets and shoot at eachother. Nor will Delta Squad or any other of the Gears suddenly fall for your Stranded OC. Sorry, but their minds are on their mission and not up your OC's rear end.

The Locust: Think of these guys a humaniod bees. They are pale white, scaley, have long sharp teeth and the smallest crawl around with bombs strapped to their backs to Kamakazi anything that happens to roll on wheels. They will not EVER fall for your OC. Nor will they take your OC prisoner to preform breeding experiements. Bezerkers are Female Locust. Their butt ugly and would be just as likely to tear a Locust to shreads as a Human. So no...keep your story to cannon. If your OC gets captured by Locust, chances are she will be tortured. And not in a good way. (Good according to some fanbrats who think that rape is ok...sheesh.)

That's my rant...at least until I get more time on the Libraries computers or until I get the internet at the house.

In the Heroes fandom:

Sylar and Garbriel are the same man. They are not a split personality. He is Gabriel Gray, and he called himself Sylar as a rechristening after he worked out his power and took a lesson in growing a spine. This was not necessarily a good thing.

Mohinder is not actually stupid. He's a geneticist. He makes stupid life decisions, but he's obviously not stupid academically. And he's talked back to Sylar even when powerless, no matter how stupid it was. He's going to keep doing it.

Mass Effect:

- As others said before, I don't mind AU shippings as long they put a sign that says AU. But there are certain pairings that really bugs me like Saren/Shepard or Anderson/Saren. Not it's out of character for the main antigonist, Saren, who hates humans but also it embodies the idea of putting Saren into the "Draco in Leather Pants" Factor. Which irritates me.

- So far in the Mass Effect section in the fanfiction.net and our very own shrine for the ME FanFics, we're blessed enough for now that we've yet to see a fan fiction that was posted with the extreme elements of rule 34. Yes I mean rule 34 that involes bodily harm that some fandom is plagued like Sailor Moon and such. Sadly, with the franchise growning popalarity, it's a matter of time that someone is sadistic enough to post such woeful trash...

Friday the 13th:

Jason's face was covered up for a reason and it's not because he's a stunningly handsome guy. He's a six foot behemoth with the mind of an psychopathic 8 year old child (if that) in a serial killer's body.

If you're going to not have him kill somebody, please, please, PLEASE think up an original reason as to why he lets them live. Hormones might come into it later but he needs a reason not to twist their head off in the first place. If you can't think up an original reason, at least make it something to do with his mother.

Jason kills pretty much EVERYBODY he meets. It's classed as marking territory, in his head. It's only the plot of the films that means the 'good' kids don't die; he once tried to kill a pregnant girl. Finally, why the HELL should he stop killing people because of your character's love? Would his mother tell him not to? It's not a ghost that knows what's a good person, it's bloody schitzophrenia, and he's had it for years. He ain't gonna stop killing people now.

And guess what? Freddy's not gonna be changed by your Sue's Twu Wuv either. The guy killed his own wife and didn't seem to have many qualms about trying to kill his own daughter.

Elm Street:

Freddy Krueger is a psychotic nightmare demon. He's also a rapist, a child molestor, and a total ASSHOLE. And he wasn't exactly a looker when he WASN'T hideously deformed by fire either.

Not only would your Sue be incapable of reforming him, she wouldn't want to try.

Friday 13th

If you must move in with Jason, will you just quit being fine that his living quarters are a tip, he's wearing a hockey mask, his clothes are dirty with blood, and he doesn't speak?

Will you, for crying out loud, show some concern? Conceal some dislike of the situation? Stop smiling and thanking him for the meal, and react to the fact that he lives wild and doesn't bathe?

Watchmen fandom:

~Rorschach is NOT GAY for Dan. He's not hot for your Sue. If anything, he's asexual. I could *possibly* see him MAYBE have feelings for Dan which he would then feel awkward with, but actually doing the deed? No. Never.

~Rorschach and Walter are not two seperate personalities. Rorschach IS Walter, who is a crazy mother fucker who lost it during the Roche investigation. There is no "submerged" Walter. There are no seperate personalities.
