Inspired by a conversation in the chatbox, this thread is for writing weird crossover fic ideas offered by posters into weird crossover fics.

The rules:

1. One poster posts an idea for a crossover. It can be two or more fandoms, of any and all media, with qualifications such as what pairing the poster would like or what scenario to follow, or a particular rating. Or it can have nothing but the idea of the crossover itself. The crossover can be as insane and unlikely as the poster wishes.

2. The next poster or posters takes the idea offered by the previous poster and runs with it, writing the fic. It can be a drabble or as long as the writer wants (though long fics should be hosted on LJs or what-have-you). It can be a comedy, a parody (probably inevitable with some particularly off the wall crossovers), a serious fic, a pornfic, whatever. Rate it appropriately and warn for NWS content.

In return, the poster posting the fic offers their own crossover idea, and the thread continues on.

3. Multiple writers can take the same crossover idea, but to keep things simple, state whose crossover idea you're responding to in your post, and again, offer your own crossover idea in return.

4. In addition or substitution for the rule of "first poster throws out a random crossover, next poster takes it and writes it", a poster can also submit a random list of fandoms (which preferably should not be too large, say, maybe up to 10 fandoms), and the next poster(s) can pick, choose, and mix 'n' match their own crossover ideas from it. Some credit should ideally still be given to the originator of this "grab bucket" of fandoms, though, so we can see where the writer got their crossover inspiration from.
