F. We do not say wisCANsin.
G. It's a bubbler, get over it. It's soda, not pop.
Thus, That 70's Show is not 100% accurate.

Not all Wisconsinites call it a bubbler, though. I grew up in southern Wisconsin and I don't think I ever heard anyone use that term for water fountains in the 18 years I lived there. |

It's a southeastern Wisconsin thing, I believe, but my point still stands. |

This is not actually true and irks me because even British people think it. Kent is 'right down in the South East of England'. London is above it. The South East is Kent, East and West Sussex and Surrey. At a push also Hampshire. Writing as someone living near Maidstone in Kent, London is some forty miles north of me.

I see your point. I guess it's just the fact that people all over the country say that the South East gets everything. In fact London gets everything. The South East gets very little. London is in the South East, but it is not the whole South East.
Although, at the rate Greater London is growing, within twenty years it probably will be. |
