Ah, but is that ever since the Germanic people existed, or since the land that they occupied was called "Germany"? I don't know German history that well, but I think it might have been called "Prussia" in 1870. I'm pretty sure it wasn't called "Germany" until the early 20th century, when Kaiser Wilhelm established the Second Reich.

Oh and for the record, I like Germany, and I like German people.
