How about a thread about weird-ass websites people vaguely recall, but can't remember the name of? See what bizarre things we can dig up from memory lane.

In my case, I randomly remembered a weird girl who I think wrote either a fanfic or an original story with a super-Sue. What was unusual about this one was that she kept using ~ instead of -, and at her own site she listed all the famous historical, and fictional (like Cinderella) women she was the reincarnation of. I also think that she posted really over-the-top supposed conversations with her boyfriend, such as her saying "thank you for protecting me during the night, my noble dragon" when they woke up in the morning. Overall, she was bending over backwards to be extremely girly in everything she did, and it was pretty sad. This was back at GAFF I think.

And wasn't there an instance where a timecube-esque rambler found the forum via a search on somebody linking to his site, so he came to the forum and started going on and on about how we better get going with evolving into r-a-i-n-b-o-w p-l-a-n-t-s (don't look at me, I'M not taking the risk of him coming here too) or he'd kill us all?

Hmm, don't know about that, but anyone remember that weird redhead girl who wRoTe EvErYtHiNg LiKe ThIs, including fanfics? And how she wrote urpley descriptions of herself and I think, but I'm not sure, that she was really into Wicca (though a fanbratty, superspeshul version of Wicca)? I can't dredge up any other memories of her, except that I saw a picture of her on her website. And I think her name inclded the word Rose? Or maybe that was her real name?

I don't know, man, I just clearly remember the crazy capitalization. She might even be the same as the girl you mentioned.

Oh, and she said she was babysitting a little girl named Rhiannon and GAFFers were debating whether that was her real name or if weird girl just claimed it was, so it sounded more super extra speshul.

And fairies. For some reason, I think fairies were involved.

I think we might be thinking of the same person, Azzandra. Was her name WinterRose, maybe?

Ah yes, WinterRose. There was a megathread about her back on Orange GAFF--eighty-something pages, including her self-appointed "handmaidens" showing up to defend her from the jealous haterz. Some people suffered troll's remorse after it turned out she had Turner Syndrome, which may explain some of the obsession with femininity, but it doesn't excuse the forehead-slapping naivete or terrifyingly over-the-top focus on fairies and princesses.

Oh, Winter Rose, I loved that thread to pieces. Then she made her LJ private and took away all the fun. Honestly, if she just posted something like "Folks, I'm a very ill person with diabetes who likes to brighten up her life with kitschy princess crap. Chill out.", I think people would have been easier on her. But then she started begging online for money so she could go to Ireland.

What's the name of the one who did horrible tracings of Yu-Gi-Oh characters with her goffick Sue?

I remember trying to read WinterRose's NaNoWriMo entry. She even described what kind of lace the characters were wearing on top of every other little detail. I think most of the story was made up of simply those descriptions.

To also be fair, I can't imagine what would make someone post an unedited NaNoWriMo entry somewhere people can see it.

I remember a looooooong thread about this one girl and her website. She had a ridiculous number of soulbonds (over a hundred, I think), mostly of anime characters, that she called her "brains". She went on and on about being an Indigo Child who nobody understood and talked about how when she ascended to her special heaven she'd bring seventy-something people with her, and everyone else on the planet would die.

I also remember some quote about how the word "mother" was profane because people used it in "motherfucker".

Oh, her. We talked about her somewhere else around here recently.
