I'm planning on going this year (FINALLY) and I was wondering if anyone else was. We could meet up or something. The pre-order date for passes ends on the 14th, so if you're thinking about it, it's a pretty good time to decide. :Db

If anyone wants to meet up at Toronto's FanExpo in August, though, I'm totally game. Adam West and William Shatner are going to be there!

Well, even though I live 20 minutes out of Baltimore, the friend and I who attend Otakon are wondering if it might be more convienent to our drinking schedules if we just stay in a hotel.

So maybe we might want to go in on a room.

Oh, except for the part where the panel I was dying to see? AND THE PANELISTS NEVER SHOWED! Yeah, that part was not awesome.

And the fire. That was just annoying.

Also, I made it through the whole con without getting groped once and was so damn happy. Last night, we're walking out to the car, and all of a sudden there is a drunk-ass girl on me going "You here with anybody baby?" and then she stuck her hand up my dress.

Gawddamnit, I was so close too!

If I may ask, which panelists never showed? And fire?!

The Feminism in Anime panelists. Seriously, fuck them.

There was a small grease fire in the kitchens in the Dealer's Room, as I found out from some artists in the Alley later. I thought it was a prank because of how short a time it took the building to be okayed again, but it was a very real, if not very small, fire.

They had to evacuate the whole building though. 26,000 people being put out on Pratt Street. Was very...interesting. One of the artists was later selling signs that said "I survived the Otakon 2010 fire!"

Oh joy yes, that was such fun.

It was a pleasure meeting with you Lapin! And I hope you found a Tuxedo Mask. This made me laugh because at the cosplay burlesque not long after the masquerade there happened to be a Tuxedo Mask in the show.

Besides the fire, this was a successful con for me.

We did find a Tuxedo mask, and a Sailor Uranus. We never found a fucking Sailor Pluto though. It really pissed us both off, because normally we find everyone.

I got my Jayne Cobb hat too! (Hugs it again) I'm so happy.
