| What is OMGPop?
OMGPop is, according to Wikipedia, "a casual online multiplayer gaming website built entirely in Flash" and is a very fun group-orientated waste of time, as I, Nil, Weird and Max can vouch for. It is also quite addicting which, once again, us four are sure to vouch for.
And this warrants a thread because... ?
OMGPop allows private rooms and has a whopping SEVENTEEN GAMES in which to choose from for fun times. Quite simply: WGW OMGPop nights! Or days, depending on your time-zone. You can play games without registering, though you'll merely be the guest of whatever player invited you to play and none of your stats will be kept and you will probably be bugged to register. Once you do, you can add other players as friends and keep an eye out for more WGW only matches possibly being played. Some of the games available [i.e. the ones that I like] include:
Draw My Thing: Somebody is given a word, which they must draw whilst everybody else guesses. Once time runs out, or somebody guesses correctly, the person next in line will then be given a word which they too must draw out. Each player gets two turns to draw words, before the winner is chosen and a new game begins amongst many cries of triumph and "WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT SUPPOSED TO BE YOU SPAZ".
Balloono: A very good Bomberman rip-off, only with water balloons. And can have up to six players at any one time. It's as awesome as it sounds.
Letterblox: Each player gets given the same six letters to pick words out of. More points are rewarded the longer the word is and the more obscure it may be. The player with the most points at the end wins.
Hover Kart Battle/Hover Kart Racing: It's basically Mario Kart, with up to six players. A little choppy, but still a great laugh and quite a challenge.
Of course, that's only a small number of the games on display. Plus, new games have recently been added which I haven't looked through yet.
This still sounds boring!
If you're a big sissy who doesn't find the idea of besting your fellow WGWers at flash games awesome then you can also join public games, though 99% of the site is full of little kids. Basically, it's your typical online gaming community only we'll most likely stick to private rooms only, unless we're in a trolling mood and are looking for a laugh maybe. Not only that, but you can earn coins for each game you play which you can spend to upgrade your playing experience, though I doubt much will come out of that besides making fun of clocks/pens/etc. other WGWers buy. The point is I liked playing these games a lot back when I remembered it existed and wanted to share it with everybody here.
You have failed to get my interest...
One time I was playing 'Draw My Thing' and my word was 'Inconsistent', which I drew phonetically [arrow going into a door, pro/con, sister, camping tent]. Somebody managed to figure out my shitty scribbles at the last second and it was awesome and everybody in the game was in shock. Seriously, give it a chance~
=====
EDIT:
RIGHT. I think setting a standard time for us all to take part in would be first priority, and I'm going to go ahead and suggest 10PM GMT for starters. Of course, I'm aware of conflicting time zones so others are more than welcome to organise their own times that suit them. In fact, I suggest doing so.
The most important factor to organising these games, however, would be through the forum's added chatroom and befriending each other's user accounts. Mine is HERE. Add it, and post your own so y'all can add each other in a big sticky web of friendship
THE FIRST GAMES WILL COMMENCE TONIGHT AT 10PM GMT. BE SURE TO BE IN THE CHATROOM TO RECEIVE THE LINK TO THE PRIVATE ~*~WGWERS ONLY~*~ ROOM

| I'm sure this is loads better than my frat party of an attention span's making it out to be. I might join in. | Quote: | Draw My Thing: Somebody is given a word, which they must draw whilst everybody else guesses. If I'd seen this before I started the book I would've run away. I have trouble putting it down and I'm only on the first book. |

| Sorry about that, Seule. Everybody had already left by the time you arrived. Don't worry, though; there'll be more games, hopefully. For everyone else who joined in: if there's anything that you didn't like, any games for instance, go ahead so we can know to avoid those in the future. Balloono lagged pretty hard for me, and Hit Machine had its problems too. The only one that seemed to stand out as a barrel of laughs for me was Draw My Thing. |

| My internet cut out halfway through but the bit I played was awesome. We need to set up a regular time to do this.
Edit: I just played with people I don't know and holy crap this site is full of people who just sit around yelling "you suck" at everyone. I am not exaggerating. |

Honey, this is the internet. It's one-half unreasonable hatred (& 1/4 ambivilency, and a quarter of it is the sort of co-dependent clap-trap that you all seem to have largely settled into.) |
